Ghanaian winger Yaw Yeboah continued his impressive individual campaign by scoring in Qingdao Hainiu’s 4-1 defeat to Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League.
Yeboah gave Qingdao an early advantage in the third minute, finishing from close range after an assist from Zheng Chuanhui. However, Shanghai Shenhua responded strongly, with Luis Asué scoring a first-half hat-trick to help seal a convincing victory.
Despite Qingdao Hainiu’s difficult season, Yeboah has remained one of the club’s standout performers. The 29-year-old has now recorded six goals and three assists in 14 league appearances, underlining his consistency and attacking influence.
Qingdao Hainiu will aim to bounce back when they face Tianjin Jinmen Tiger on July 25, with Yeboah expected to remain central to the club’s attacking plans.
