Mrs. Salamatu Farouq Yahaya MCIPM is a dynamic leadership expert, human resource professional, and consultant dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to achieve excellence. As the Chief Executive Officer and Lead Consultant at Salamatu Farouq Consulting Limited, she provides strategic leadership training and actionable solutions designed to enhance effectiveness and drive meaningful change. Her work focuses on fostering mindset shifts that enable individuals—especially women and youth—to navigate contemporary challenges and reach their full potential.

A member of the esteemed John Maxwell Leadership Team, Mrs. Yahaya is also a BRIDGE Accredited Workshop Facilitator and a Licensed Human Resource Professional. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Literature-in-English and is the author of Strengthening the NAOWA Narrative, a book that reflects her passion for leadership and institutional continuity. Her expertise spans multiple professional domains, with memberships in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), the Institute of Professional Managers and Administrators of Nigeria (IPMA), and the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). She is also an Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Educational Leadership Practitioners of Nigeria (IELPN), demonstrating her commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.

With over 16 years of experience in public service at Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mrs. Yahaya has played a vital role in strengthening democratic processes and governance. Her outstanding performance earned her the prestigious INEC Commendation Letter for Exemplary Conduct in 2011 and the Award for Outstanding Performance at INEC Headquarters in 2017. These accolades underscore her dedication to excellence, integrity, and service to the nation.

Her leadership journey reached new heights during her tenure as the 22nd President of the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA) from May 2021 to June 2023. In this role, she championed the continuity of legacies, provided mentorship, and implemented initiatives that empowered women within the military community. Her ability to inspire, motivate, and drive impactful change has made her a respected voice in leadership and social development.
