Belgian champions Club Brugge have placed a €10 million valuation on Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika as transfer negotiations with Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt continue.
Frankfurt submitted an opening bid for the Nigerian international last week, but the offer fell short of Club Brugge’s asking price. Discussions between both clubs remain ongoing as they seek to reach an agreement.
Onyedika has one year remaining on his current contract, with Belgian media outlet Het Nieuwsblad reporting that Club Brugge have made several attempts to extend his deal. However, the midfielder is understood to be keen on securing a move during the current transfer window.
The Belgian club is expected to make a decision before the end of the window, as failing to sell the player this summer could see him leave on a free transfer when his contract expires.
Since joining Club Brugge, Onyedika has established himself as one of Nigeria’s most dependable midfielders in European football.
