Gabon’s football association has lifted the suspension on the national team following their disappointing exit from the Africa Cup of Nations, welcoming back star players Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Didier Ovono Manga. The move comes as the federation seeks to restore morale and rebuild ahead of upcoming international fixtures.

Despite the reinstatement of key players, Gabon’s search for a new head coach continues, as officials aim to appoint someone who can reinvigorate the squad and guide them to better results in future tournaments. Aubameyang’s return, however, is expected to inject leadership and experience into the team, offering hope to fans that Gabon can quickly regroup after their AFCON disappointment.

The football association emphasized that while players are back in training, structural reforms and planning for the team’s long-term strategy remain a top priority. Fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the new head coach, whose appointment will be key to shaping Gabon’s ambitions for upcoming competitions.
