The 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), hosted in Morocco, has reached a thrilling stage with eight teams officially booking their spots in the quarterfinals after an intense and action-packed group phase. The tournament, which continues to showcase the rapid rise of women’s football on the continent, has seen standout performances, dramatic showdowns, and the emergence of new contenders for the coveted title.

Zambia, Senegal, and Nigeria have also demonstrated consistency and strength, rounding out the list of quarterfinalists along with Algeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Mali.
