As Queen Consort of the Warri Kingdom in Nigeria’s resource-rich Niger Delta, Olori Atuwatse III stands at the powerful intersection of tradition, leadership, and transformation. A trained legal mind from the prestigious London School of Economics, she transcends ceremonial royalty to embody a modern vision of purposeful influence, fueled by education, empowerment, and cultural redefinition.

In her role as Queen Consort, Olori Atuwatse III leverages her platform to reshape mindsets, especially among women and youth. Through initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and leadership, she is ushering in a new era of prosperity and dignity within the Warri Kingdom and across the continent.

At the core of her impact is the Royal Iwere Foundation (RIF), a vehicle through which over 15,000 lives have been directly touched within just two years. By emphasizing community transformation through education and enterprise, RIF is reshaping what grassroots development looks like in one of Nigeria’s historic kingdoms.

Her passion for gender equality and national policy engagement has earned her a seat on the High-Level Advisory Committee (HLAC) on Women’s Economic Empowerment and Gender in Nigeria. There, she collaborates with federal stakeholders to champion systems and policies that uplift Nigerian women.

Understanding the power of narrative, Olori Atuwatse III founded Elevate Africa, an organization dedicated to rebranding Africa on the global stage. The initiative amplifies authentic African stories, connects emerging talents to global opportunities, and invests in sustainable, indigenous solutions painting a new image of Africa led by Africans themselves.

Her efforts have received resounding recognition: from the African Achievers Award at the House of Lords to being listed among Avance Media’s 100 Most Influential African Women. She is also the proud recipient of the 2024 Joyce Banda Leadership Award, the Humanitarian of the Year title from the Africa Advancement Awards, and the Global Reputation Forum Award.

Olori Atuwatse III’s voice has echoed through global corridors of influence, including at the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, the Diana Awards, the Global Reputation Forum, the African Achievers Award Ceremony, and the USAFRICA Business Week during the 78th United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Her vision is clear and far-reaching: to leave behind a legacy where education, enterprise, and empowerment are not privileges but rights, creating an Africa that tells its own stories and shapes its own future. Through her evolving work in policy, philanthropy, and thought leadership, Olori Atuwatse III remains one of Africa’s most inspiring and reputable women in 2025.
