Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas (Rtd), the Ambassador-Designate of Nigeria to the Philippines, presented copies of his Letters of Credence (copie d’usage) to His Excellency, Ariel R. Penaranda, Assistant Secretary (Chief of Protocol) at the Department of Foreign Affairs of The Philippines on Thursday 30th July, 2026.

The Ambassador was accompanied by Ms Regina Aondona, Minister (Deputy Head of Mission) and Mr Obinna Onyima, Counselor (Political and Econ).

The formal presentation of Letters of Credence by the Ambassador to His Excellency, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of The Philippines will take place as soon as the schedule of the President permits.
