Born in 1986 and raised in the United Kingdom, Dr. Brown pursued a medical degree at Hull York Medical School, graduating at the impressive age of 21. Her journey into healthcare entrepreneurship was deeply personal—after experiencing the tragic loss of her sister due to the lack of adequate medical transport services in Nigeria, she was driven to create solutions that could prevent such tragedies for others.

In 2007, she founded Flying Doctors Nigeria, West Africa’s first indigenous air ambulance service, revolutionizing emergency medical response in the region. This game-changing initiative has provided critical care and rapid medical evacuations, saving countless lives and ensuring that patients in remote and underserved areas receive urgent medical attention.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Brown is a formidable force in finance and investment. She holds a master’s degree in finance and economic policy from the University of London, along with certificates in economic policymaking from IE Business School in Spain and accounting for decision-making from the University of Michigan, USA. Her expertise in both healthcare and finance has positioned her as a key architect of Africa’s healthcare investment landscape.

Her impact extends even further—she co-founded Greentree Investment Company, a venture capital firm that provides growth capital to African technology startups, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship across the continent. By supporting emerging businesses, she is playing a crucial role in Africa’s economic transformation.

Dr. Brown’s influence is recognized on the global stage. She is an international speaker, delivering keynote addresses at world-renowned platforms such as the World Economic Forum, TED Global Conference, and the Aspen Ideas Festival. Her groundbreaking work has earned her numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and a national honor as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) in Nigeria.
