Santuscom Foods Ltd., a subsidiary of Santuscom Group, has signed a N5 billion partnership agreement with United Kingdom based Dawn Fulfilment to expand the export and distribution of Nigerian agricultural products across the UK and wider European market.

The agreement, signed in Manchester, will cover the storage, local fulfilment, marketing and micro distribution of Santuscom products in the UK, according to Chief Ofana Paul, chief executive officer of Santuscom Group.

Products covered by the arrangement include Ogoja Garri, Ogoja Palm Oil, Ogoja Unripe Plantain Flour, Yam Poundo and Santuscom Honey Beans. The company said the partnership would combine local agricultural production with international marketing and distribution capacity.

Paul described the agreement as a significant step in Santuscom’s export strategy, saying it would help move agricultural products from Ogoja and other parts of Nigeria to consumers in international markets.

He said the partnership was intended not only to facilitate exports but also to strengthen the value chain surrounding locally produced commodities by creating opportunities for farmers, processors, distributors and other participants in the agricultural sector.

Under the agreement, Dawn Fulfilment, founded by Gbemi Elisha, will hold Santuscom products in the UK and provide local fulfilment and distribution services.

Elisha said the company would serve independent retailers, African supermarkets, restaurants, online customers and smaller wholesale buyers, helping to make Nigerian food products more readily available to consumers.

She said Dawn Fulfilment was attracted by Santuscom’s strategy of establishing a stronger presence in the UK rather than simply shipping products into the country.

The arrangement is expected to shorten delivery channels and enable retailers to replenish stocks more efficiently as demand develops. It will also provide Santuscom with a local distribution structure through which it can reach consumers beyond specialist import channels.

The partnership builds on Santuscom’s earlier expansion into the UK market. The company’s products, including Ogoja Garri, Yam Poundo, Ogoja Plantain Flour, Ogoja Palm Oil and Honey Beans, were introduced to consumers in the UK earlier in 2026.

The development highlights the growing commercial potential of Nigerian processed agricultural products in international markets, particularly among the African diaspora and consumers seeking authentic Nigerian food products.

For Ogoja and surrounding agricultural communities in Cross River State, greater access to international markets could create additional demand for locally produced commodities and support activities across production, processing, packaging, logistics and distribution.

For Nigeria’s broader agricultural sector, the deal also illustrates the importance of developing export ready food products and reliable international distribution networks capable of connecting local producers with consumers abroad.

Santuscom said the partnership would help increase the international visibility of Nigerian agricultural products while creating opportunities across the agricultural value chain as the company expands its presence in the UK and other European markets.
