Renowned Nigerian gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has joyfully announced the arrival of her second child with her husband, Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa, marking another milestone in their growing family. The multiple award-winning artist took to her Instagram page on Friday to share the heartwarming news with fans and well-wishers, offering heartfelt gratitude to God for what she described as a divine addition to their home.

Mercy Chinwo, celebrated for her powerful voice and inspirational gospel hits, could not contain her excitement as she revealed that the birth of their baby boy has filled their household with even more joy, laughter, and blessings. In a touching post, she declared that God’s goodness has once again been made manifest in their lives, and she prayed that His light would continue to shine through their lineage for generations to come.

The gospel minister, who tied the knot with Lagos-based clergyman Pastor Blessed in 2022, welcomed their first child in 2023, making the latest arrival their second in just two years of marriage. Her public message to her husband praised him as “an amazing father of two” and acknowledged his unwavering support as they embraced the joys and responsibilities of parenthood together.

“The Lord has done it again! He has added to our joy… multiplied our laughter… and blessed us with the precious gift of a second baby,” she wrote in her announcement. “We declare: His name will be lifted in our lineage forever. Generations from us will walk in His light. Through us, many will be blessed, and the nations will call us blessed. To the glory of God… Welcome, our precious gift.”

Fans, fellow gospel artists, and members of the Christian community have since flooded her social media pages with congratulatory messages, celebrating the couple’s testimony of faith, love, and divine favor. Mercy Chinwo’s announcement not only marks a personal celebration but also reinforces her image as a woman deeply rooted in faith, family, and ministry.
